About Hassan Pasha Sabree
Hassan Pasha Sabree is a drummer and percussionist from Camden, New Jersey whose musical journey began almost at birth. Born into the arts, Hassan was introduced to African percussion as a baby, developing an early and intuitive connection to rhythm, culture, and sound. That foundation continues to shape his musical identity today.
A 2024 graduate of Creative Arts High School, Hassan honed his skills through rigorous arts training, live performance, and ensemble work. He is proficient in traditional African drums, including the djembe, as well as the modern drum set, allowing him to move fluidly between ancestral rhythms and contemporary styles such as jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and fusion.
Hassan is currently a student at Berklee College of Music, where he continues to expand his technical mastery, musical versatility, and collaborative voice. Grounded in tradition and driven by innovation, Hassan approaches music as both a discipline and a form of storytelling using rhythm to connect history, community, and the next generation of sound.
